Three Ways to Become Intimate with God

Three Ways to Become Intimate with God

If anyone on earth had been recorded as the person most closely related to God, it would be Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

God wants us all to be like Him with passion and resemblance to His Son Jesus Christ. The intimacy with God in him and the total obedience to God.

But do not worry too much. It is not difficult or impossible to resemble Jesus.

In Matthew 11: 28-30, the Lord says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy, I will give you rest. I am gentle and humble in heart, so bear my yoke upon you and learn from me. The yoke is easy, and my burden is light. "

The Christian Today in the United Kingdom recently introduced three ways to create intimacy with God:

1. Always keep God first.

"Jesus said to him," Why did you seek me? Did you not know that I should be in my Father's house? "(Luke 2:49)

Jesus said this at the age of twelve. Nothing overrides what God wants. We can also read in another Gospel that Jesus had a time of fellowship with God before and after doing something. God was His joy!

"At this time Jesus went to the mountain to pray and prayed to God that the night was coming" (Luke 6:12)

"After he sent the crowds, he went up to the mountains to pray, and he was alone there." (Matthew 14:23)

2. Read the Bible

"After three days he met in the temple, and he sat down among the teachers, hearing them, and asking questions. And all who heard him were amazed at his wisdom and his answer" (Luke 2: 46-47)

A 12-year-old boy surprised all the Bible teachers and those who sat. He must have had a great love for the Bible.

In Luke 4: 1-13, the Lord stands on the Word of God and overcomes the temptations of the devil. He is the one who lived by the word of God. He was the flesh of the Word, and he who held the Word faithfully.

3. Obedience to the Word

"Jesus replied," If a man loves me, he will keep my words; my Father will love him, and we will go to him and live with him. He who does not love me will not keep my words. Not my words, but the words of the Father who sent me "

Jesus says that those who keep the word of God will be loved by God and will be together in the dwelling of the Father. As the Word became flesh, the Lord, fully obedient to the Word, proclaimed that those who obey the Word would dwell in the tabernacle of God in him.
