James 1: 2
The shepherd who feeds the sheep puts the goat together. The sheep hate moving, so if you leave what you want, you often get sick. If there is a goat in one of these sheep, he goes round the sheep. At this time, the sheep run away from the goat with horns and exercise themselves.
Our Shepherd God also uses this method to raise our children with strong faith. The various tests that come to us from time to time are to act as goats in our lives. If you try to overcome the test, you will soon see that our faith grows. Job confessed that suffering in an unspeakable affliction is a touch of grace that God sets up his faith. 'But he knows the way I am going, and after he has trained me, I will come out like pure gold.' (Job 23:10)
The Apostle James also exhorts the same. 'My brethren, if ye are tempted variously, be fully pleased "(James 1: 2).
Every test of God is a test for training to grow our faith. First, when such a test comes, I should gladly take note of it. It is an examination for the benefit of faith. Second, we must seek God for wisdom and suffering. Our ability is limited because we can not afford to save God's wisdom. It will also help people to get help.
Third, we must expect that God will reward us. God promised that "those who endure the temptation will have the crown of life that the Lord promised to those who love him" (James 1:12).
Another kind of temptation is the temptation of Satan to make us sin (James 1:13). Satan's temptation must be defeated immediately, not deceived. When these temptations come to you, praying for salvation from evil to avoid temptation, and obeying God's word, you can resist temptation. 'So then, submit to God, and fight against the devil, and he will flee from you.' (James 4: 7)
In the Bible there is a scene in which Satan uses various methods to corrupt the children of God. First Satan showed the man a big gold. When he did not blink his eyes, he sent a beautiful woman next time. Nevertheless he did not shake. In the last way, he provoked his jealousy. "Your competitor has just risen above you." When he heard this, he frowned and angered, revealing the bottom of his faith.
Dear Colleagues, God makes us grow in our faith and eventually we meet many goats in life to give a great reward. Whenever we do, we will pray in God's name to make us a gracious opportunity to rely on God and lead us to a more faithful faith.
